Meet Lavern & Shirly! The sweetest bonded silver lab sisters residing at Cheyenne (WY) Animal Shelter. They found themselves at the shelter as their owner was no longer physically able to care for them anymore.
Lavern and Shirley are 7-year-old pups searching for a loving home to call their own! Lavern may be a little reserved when first meeting new people, but don’t let her shy nature fool you underneath it is a very loving and loyal dog who just needs a little time to feel comfortable. Shirley can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and love, her gentle personality truly shines. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and happiest right by your side. Together they are much more confident.
Having spent a lot of time outdoors, Lavern and Shirley would do best with a family that can provide her with an active lifestyle and plenty of opportunities to stretch her legs. They are currently overweight, so a healthy diet and a veterinary check-up are highly recommended to help her get on the right track. With regular exercise and proper care, they will greatly benefit both physically and emotionally. They would do best in a home without small animals, young kids or cats.
Once they build trust, they becomes an affectionate companion who will happily stay by your side through it all.
