Luna is a very sweet and calm dog that loves adult people (we are unsure how she is with children). She warmed up to both her male and female foster parents quickly and showed her playful side right away. She likes to be close to her people and will follow them from room to room. Her recall in the back yard is good and she seems to understand and follow basic commands.

Meet Luna, a sweet 2-year-old who is ready for a loving forever home! Luna came to us as an owner surrender from New Mexico after having a litter of puppies. With everything she’s been through recently, it took a few days for her to settling into her foster home and warm up to the house dog. With time, patience and attention, she is showing her gentle, affectionate personality.

Luna is house trained, knows her basic commands, walks beautifully on leash, and is very obedient and eager to learn. She does not jump or counter surf and lays quietly under the table while her foster family has meals. She’s very food motivated and trains easily with treats or kibble. We’re working on crate training, and she’s making great progress.

Luna would thrive in a loving home and would be especially well suited to a home with a calm, older dog. She’s a loving girl who has so much to offer and is ready to spend the rest of her life being someone’s loyal companion.Luna has been through a lot in the last couple of months.
