Meet Stanley!
 Black Lab/ Cattle Dog
 Age 4 years
 Sex Male
 Size 65 lbs
 Fixed Yes
 House Trained Yes
Stanley is a very sweet, affectionate, goofy guy who loves attention! He is good with other dogs with proper introductions but prefers time with his human companions.
He has never met a person who isn’t immediately his best friend! Stanley knows all of his basic commands and a few tricks. He’s very smart and very treat motivated making him easy to train. Bonus: Stanley very rarely barks Because he’s such a smart guy, he needs some mental as well as physical exercise to be his best self. He loves to play ball! He is sometimes excitable, like when you’ve returned home, and may do some excited spinning or zoomies in the yard. Stanley enjoys resting in his crate with the door open but gets a little anxious when it’s closed. He is non-destructive when left alone in the house uncrated, although he will jump on the bed if given access to it. A camera has shown him waiting quietly by the door until his people come home. Stanley is up to date on all of his vaccines as well as heartworm and flea and tick
preventatives, and is heartworm negative.
Other dogs He is good with other dogs with proper introductions off leash.
Cats Unknown
Children Unknown. But he is a big boy and could easily bowl kids over.
Leash manners He does tend to pull and is sometimes reactive to other dogs. Both
of these are being worked on with a trainer and he has shown great improvement.
He ignores geese but is interested in squirrels. He’s very teachable and very treat
motivated.
Stanley is hoping to find a home of his own by mid-August!
