- Foster Parent(s) Thanks to Nikki, Paulo, Max, Cole, Liam and Doc (dog) for being great fosters to Reese!
Reese is super sweet and playful. She loves to play fetch and can do this endlessly! She is attentive and quiet. She follows her humans around as to not be left behind but shows no signs of anxiety when left alone. She loves to be on the couch when not playing or outside and just take a nap with a blanket. Reese knows how to sit, shake (paw), and listens very well to commands like “come here” and “drop”. She jumps up a little when you first get home or wake up as she wants to give you love, kisses and hugs. She is an AMAZING DOG!
Reese is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and her humans love to snuggle, take her for walks and play fetch.
More info about Reese
Other Dogs ▼
Reese is eager to see new dogs on leash and is working on staying calm and focused when passing. She should be the only dog in her home as she bonds tightly with her humans and prefers to get all the attention to herself. She may be successful with the right male dog, however, she needs slow and well managed introductions.
Cats ▼
Previous owner stated Reese does NOT like cats.
Children ▼
Reese is very good with children. We have observed her as very playful and gentle with our kiddos (age 11-13). She likes to chase them around and play fetch, tug of war, and in general climb on them in playful ways.
Leash ▼
Reese loves going on walks and has improved a lot on leash with a freedom harness that clips on the front and back. We recommend her adopter purchase this set up from us at the time of adoption.
Where I'm from ▼
Reese has been bounced around unexpectedly recently. She first found herself at a Denver shelter and wasn't reclaimed. She was such a great girl that she was adopted quickly, however Reese was not getting along with their cat, so they reached out to RMLR to help re-home her so she wouldn't have to return to the shelter.
