Polly is very quiet and gentle. She has endured a lot of change the past few weeks so has shown some anxiety by pacing. The pacing is almost gone since she’s been with us for a couple of weeks. She does become a little anxious when my husband leaves for work but calms down when she finds me. She loves her humans and will follow you wherever you go. She will not crowd you on the couch, but will always be close by. Polly loves to have you throw the ball and Frisbee with her and is very good at returning them for another go around. She sleeps on her bed in our room at night. Loves the outdoors, sitting in the sun and observing nature.

Other Dogs ▼
She is good with other dogs. Loves to play with our 9-month dog, who follows her around. Polly loves to sit in the sun and watch our dog chase squirrels.
Cats ▼
To be determined. She does bark at them when they cross the lawn.
Children ▼
She is a very gentle dog and would probably love the attention of children. Due to her age, we recommend older kids because she has been more used to a quieter environment.
Leash ▼
Loves her walks and sniffs and investigates all the smells. She pulls a bit at the start of her walk, but with a little correction she stops pulling.
Where I'm from ▼
Polly was adopted from RMLR when she was 3yo and has lived with the same family until recently. Health issues prevented the owner from being able to keep Polly so she was surrendered back to us. She has been well taken care of with reg vet visits. She is currently awaiting her vet visit for a check up and lab work to make sure she is ok for her forever home.
