Where I'm from ▼

Meet Monrow, a 2-year-old yellow lab mix who has quickly won our hearts with his sweet, playful, and gentle nature. Monrow's journey began as a stray in New Mexico, but thanks to Paws and Pilots, he made his way to Colorado—and he handled his first flight like a pro! Monrow is a special pup who truly shows his potential with just a little bit of guidance and patience. This adorable guy has a wonderful mix of playfulness and calm. He loves to fetch, especially with a squeaky ball, and enjoys running around in the yard. However, he's not a hyperactive dog. Instead, he’s perfectly content to hang out and relax while his humans go about their day—Monrow is quite the chill companion when it’s downtime. Monrow is great with both dogs and cats, although he tends to keep to himself and isn't overly eager to interact with them just yet. He’s also working hard on learning some basic commands, like “sit” and “stay,” and with a little consistency and training, he’ll continue to improve. His leash walks are pleasant, and while he does well with a no-pull leash, he can get nervous around big trucks, so calm and gentle handling is key. Monrow’s heart is as big as his potential. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will grow with you and be your forever friend, Monrow just might be your perfect match. With some love, guidance, and a safe space to thrive, he’ll surely become the loyal and loving dog he's meant to be.

We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who love dogs and work to find homes for Labs and Lab Mixes in need.
