Hi! I’m Hollie! I’m a Labrador Retriever mix, about 3-4 years old. I came to Colorado as a rescue from a hoarding situation in Texas. I am very shy and skittish when I meet new people and need a forever home that will be patient with me as it takes me awhile to adjust and reveal my true self which is a calm, sweet, gentle, food-motivated, tail-thumping, smart girl. Things I love: snow, walks, hikes, fish treats, zooming circles in the yard, meeting all of the other dogs in the neighborhood, fish treats, pets on my belly, snuggles and kisses, a hard bone to chew on, fish treats, a couple of squeaky toys, and a favorite dog bed. Less fond of: hard wood floors (slippery but I have learned to navigate them), baths (okay with mani/pedis!), veggies, loud voices, and meeting new people (they scare me unless they have a dog companion). I would do best in a home with active people and a fellow dog because it helps to have a fur friend to guide me. I am good with children of all ages. I don’t know how I am with cats, but we can explore about that. A fenced yard would be great because I love
