- Foster Parent(s) Thanks to Nadine and Trevor for being great fosters to Hanna!
Hanna was pretty timid for the first week, she’s been a bit nervous of new flooring especially laminate but she’s gotten braver and more comfortable every day. She’s been coming out of her shell as she has become more comfortable at our house and has taken cues from our dogs. She is very sweet, loves to be petted and snuggle. She likes to chew on bones, play with stuffy toys, run in the yard. She can be a little sassy and will bark sometimes when she plays. Hanna will do great in a home with another confident dog and older kids.
More info about Hanna
Other Dogs ▼
Hanna loves other dogs. We will require that she goes to a home with another confident and playful dog as she is uncertain of some things that life has to offer and she looks to the dog in her foster home to show her what is ok and what isn't and follows that dog's lead. While she would love a senior, she does play a bit rough so she'd better match with a younger dog who likes to play.
Cats ▼
Hanna does great with our cat. She’s interested but not aggressive. She would do great in a home with a cat.
Children ▼
We don’t have kids but we think she would do well with older kids, she’s not a big fan so far of loud unexpected noises.
Leash ▼
Hanna will need training, she pulls but she’s very smart and will learn fast.
Where I'm from ▼
Hanna was found as a stray in Houston and ended up at BARC. Hanna was terrified in the shelter and very nervous and shutdown. Our friends at Rescued Pets Movement asked if we could bring her to Colorado. Hanna made her way to Colorado 2/21. She will be spayed this week and then will be available for adoption.
