Athena

  • Available
  • Age 3 Years
  • Sex Female
  • Size 75 lbs
  • Fixed Yes
  • House Trained Yes
  • Foster Parent(s) Thanks to Melissa for being a great foster to Athena!

Athena is a very loyal and fun dog! She loves to be near her people, she’ll stay close to you and often let you rub her belly. After a morning walk she stays calm throughout most of the day. Athena is well-behaved around the house, she doesn’t mind playing with chew toys on her own. She will sleep in a crate but prefers to sleep close to her humans. If there’s another dog around she will want to play with them (especially chasing outside, she loves that). She doesn’t need a ton of exercise, a walk or two a day is all she needs. Overall she’s total sweetheart and would do well with a family that has at least one other dog.

Where I'm from ▼

Athena was relinquished in October by her former family because they lost their home and could not take her with them. Based on her medical records she was not in great condition. The shelter spade her and treated her for a deep and significant ear infection in both ears.

We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who love dogs and work to find homes for Labs and Lab Mixes in need.
