Rosey

|
I wanted to send you an update on Rosey. Her adopted name is Kaje and she's doing fabulous! She is wearing her collar, runs up the stairs, is learning to walk on a leash and is eating voraciously! :) She has not yet had any "oops" in her crate and is very successful with her potty training. Chelsea and her are learning to share toys and play together, Rosey (Kaje) looks up to her big sister.

Austin

|
We've had Ben (dog formerly known as Austin) going on two months now and we are all really enjoying the new addition to our family. He enjoys going on walks and hikes with us, playing fetch, and does really well with the kids. We have Ben (and us) in training classes and he is doing great. He walks on a lead, comes when called, and does well around new people and other dogs. We are proud of his hard work and our trainer told us, as long we keep up our end of the training, Ben will continue to do well and learn even more because he is a quick learner and wants to please his people.
Needless to say we are excited to have Ben and glad he is part of our family.

Jasmine

 |
We have had ginger (jasmine) just over a month now and have fallen in love with her. My 9-year-old daughter, Grace, had been the impetus for getting a new dog. Our last dog, a Springer, died from old age about three years ago and with three young kids we decided to take a break. Grace has been great with Ginger – showing responsibility and keeping her promise to be “poop master.”
Ginger is getting along fine. She was tenuous at first but now seems to realize that she finally has a permanent home. Initially she jumped up on the beds and couches but quickly learned the rules of the house, which is good in that she is willing and trainable. She has also learned that she is low in the pecking order with the cats (we have three). She mainly tries to avoid them now and the cats try to not recognize her existence – they have yet to establish diplomatic relations.
Thank you very much for caring for Ginger and getting her to RMLR. Christy at RMLR was wonderful to work with. It is evident from Ginger’s trusting spirit that everyone who helped her along the way showed her lots of love and compassion. I am sure Ginger would love to see you if you ever get out this way and you are welcome in our home.

Nova

 |
Dear Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue-
Just wanted to give you a quick update on Nova-now Bella. She has been such a delight. She is a very mild mannered puppy and is learning very quickly. She is potty trained, doing much better in her crate (had a few accidents in there but getting the hang of it now), can sit and loves taking her walks!! She plays well with all the extended families dogs, loves to go camping, but we are still working on the fetching-not real sure of that yet. Thanks for all you do for the labs you rescue-what an amazing organization. We consider ourselves lucky to have found you and to be able to bring Bella home.
