Wilson

FROM THE NEW FAMILY: My name is Cherie Stadjuhar, one of the new owners of Chapin and Wilson.  I want to thank you for getting these wonderful dogs to RMLR!

We put our last dog down last July (Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 16 yrs) and realized this spring that we were ready for 2 new dogs. Our house seemed so empty without a canine! The moment we saw Chapin and Wilson available on RMLR website we knew we had to go visit them.

We instantly fell in love with both of them! Wilson welcomed us with his signature tail wagging wiggle.  He is such a gentle soul.  And Chapin, our sweet little girl, couldn't get enough belly rubs.  Everytime we would stop petting her she would give us the look of "come on, just a litttle more".

Our family consists of myself, my husband Chip, my daughter Ashley (5 yrs), my daughter Taylor (3 yrs), our cat Daisy, and a hermit crab named Princess.  We are a very active family!  We enjoy hiking, running, camping, mtn biking, and enjoying the great outdoors.  Chapin and Wilson have fit in perfectly.  The only thing that we are working on is getting the dogs and cat to get along. It is a slow process but we are making progress.

We have had Wilson and Chapin now for 2 weeks.  We LOVE these two and look forward to everyday we spend with them.  They have brought so much joy to our house!  The girls absolutely adore them!

I want to assure you that Wilson and Chapin will get the best of everything!  We treat all of our animals as an integral part of the family.  This applies to our immediate family as well!  We had a family reunion this past weekend in Trinidad and of course Chapin and Wilson were with us!  They got to meet their grandma, grandpa, various aunts, uncles, cousins and canine cousins! Wilson and Chapin were spoiled with lots of attention. I have attached pics from our Sun hike.

Again thanks for your efforts! Chapin and Wilson have found their forever home!

Bridget

Bridget came to RMLR via CARE transport from a midwest shelter. She has been adopted and renamed Basil!

FROM BASIL:

My name is Basil, formerly known as Bridget and I love my new home! My new people say that I am sweet and mellow with just enough spice, like the herb and thats why they changed my name.
They asked me to write and thank you for finding me such a good home, thank you. My people walk me, play with me and they introduced me to the doggy park where I can play with lots of other dogs just like me. I have had a couple of accidents in the house and I threw up in the car the first 2 rides, but I am getting much better.

My people also asked me to tell you to cash that check! cause I am not going anywhere!

Thanks for everything that you do!!
