Cocoa

|
Cocoa was in a shelter in Newton Kansas and was sent to us by a volunteer who really thought highly of her. Cocoa is a happy dog and loves to be by your side. Cocoa would never pass up a good belly rub! Cocoa has been renamed Stella and is quickly becoming a part of her new family. She's now living in Denver and we can't wait to see new pictures of her in her new home.

Bear

|
Bear came to RMLR from a shelter in Witchita, KS. He's a beautiful 6 month old golden retriever/lab mix. He's been adopted by a great couple in Denver, CO and renamed Miles.
From the new family: From the moment we brought him home, we both felt he was meant to be with us! He is so loving, playful, and very smart!! He absolutely loves the water(those webbed feet are there for somethin' :)). He is currently going to puppy classes and is learning a lot. He loves daily walks to the park, playing ball, and running around at high speeds (what we call wild puppy time). We also recently took him on his first hike, which he completely enjoyed and are going camping and hiking this weekend!! We can't express to you how much we love this little guy and can't imagine our lives without him now! Thank you for all you do and getting us hooked up with our dream dog!!
The latest from Miles: Our dog has left for Hollywood to pursue his dream career of being a movie director. Please let us know if you hear from him. He just left us this picture. Please forward this to everyone that he might potentially contact.

Petunia came to the rescue with a bad case of giardia and was put on medication immediately. She has been adopted by one of the dedicated volunteers of RMLR and renamed Casidy! She now has 2 older lab siblings, Marmaduke and Finnegan. What a lucky little girl! |

Sandy

|
Sandy finally made it to RMLR from Lancaster, South Carolina. Sandy came form a shelter that puts down over 5000 dogs a year and does it by gassing them! RMLR was lucky enough, with the help of many people, to get her out of this nasty place. She's been adopted by a nice lady in Denver, CO and we can't wait to hear more about her as she grows up in Colorado! |

Mindy

|
Mindy came to RMLR from a shelter in Alamosa, CO . She was within one week of being put to sleep in the shelter. What a great beautiful girl! Mindy has hip dysplasia but that doesn't stop her from walking up to 4 miles a day! She'll most likely need surgery later in life - but right now she's just happy to have found a forever home! Mindy has been adopted by one of RMLR foster families in Erie, CO. What a lucky girl! |

Gidget

|
Giget and her sister Clowy came to RMLR from a shelter in Carnegie, OK. When they arrived Giget had kennel cough, but we got her on medication right away. She's a real sweetheart and your typical puppy! This lucky little girl has been adopted by a woman in Breckenridge, CO.
Update from the new family: She has been renamed Layla. She is doing great! We really couldn't have asked for a better puppy. She has only had two accidents in the house. That in itself is a miracle. She knows how to sit and already does her business outside when we tell her to. We have been giving her one to two long walks in the mountains daily, plus she runs around our yard a ton. She is such a lover! We are trying to kennel train her, which she does well at, we just have a problem because we want to snuggle her at night.

Sadie Mae

|
Sadie Mae is an older girl that came to RMLR from Lindsborg, KS. Sadie had led a rough life when she came to us. She had several litters of puppies, she had allergies and she was close to blind. But that didn't break her spirit! She was just as active (if not more) than any other lab we've seen. She has quite the personality. Sadie was adopted by a couple Golden, CO with yellow lab named Shorty. They have renamed her Maggie. She's having a great time going on walks and playing with tennis balls. She's slowly learning the entire layout of the house since she can't see well - but her new humans and new friend Shorty really love her! |
