B-Tane

|
B is still doing great. We are working on come, sit, down, walking properly on the leash (he is doing great on all) and next will be leave-it, get-it, drop-it, off. Katie and him are doing great. We love him so much!
I attached a picture for you.
Hope you are doing well!
Thanks!
Erin

Dove

|
Just to let you know Bella (aka Dove) appears to be adjusting well to her new environment; The car ride home was easy and she stayed in my lap the entire time; We even stopped by our daughter/son-in-laws on the way through Denver for a quick introduction! The first interaction with Bubba (outdoors in our front yard) was quite positive and they engaged in a bit of play. She's explored the entire first floor, played Goldilocks and tried each of the three beds on the main level. I've been taking her outside routinely and each time she's gone potty. We put a water dish and food bowl down for her, but it appears she prefers to drink out of Bubba's bigger one ~ especially when he's drinking, too!
It was too cute ~ as I was preparing lunch for Steve, Bubba knows he is not allowed in the kitchen so he sits patiently on the floor at the edge of the counter. Bella walked by him, turned around and sat right next to him and simply waited as well.
Attached is a photo of her first afternoon at her forever Keefer home!
RMLR is a phenomenal organization and we're honored to welcome two of their very best into our home and hearts. Thanks for the time and love your family gave to Bella during her foster stay ~ know you're welcome anytime in our home!
Kindest regards,
Leann |

Athena

|
Hi guys,
Just wanted to give you an update on Bailey (new name for Athena). She has been the completion to our family and are blessed to have her. She's definately got some puppy tendencies left in her, especially when I'm not around. She is pretty good on a leash and is getting better. Her basic commands came very easily as if she had already known them. Alyson, the youngest, has gotten over her small fear of Bailey. I think she just needed a couple days, and now she's going up to her and giving Bailey hugs and kisses.
Thanks,
Ryan and Jamie |

Trixie

|
Hey RMLR!
Just wanted to send an updated picture of Trixie at the dog park recently. She has brought so much joy into my life! I am not sure if I ever mentioned, but I have fibromyalgia. Because of this, I am in chronic pain. After discussing with my doctor, he said I needed to be regularly getting exercise and lose weight to start feeling better. Since having Trix, she has made me get off my butt and get moving. Since June we have worked up to walking 5 miles a day and I have lost 10 pounds and am feeling so much better. Not only is she a great companion to me, but she has been the motivating factor in my life to help me feel better. Thank you so much for introducing her into my life, as my life has taken a turn for the best thanks to her.
I wanted to touch base with you and let you know Trixie is doing great (she is a 55 lbs. lap dog). Also, after 3 months, we have finally figured out a bed space routine at night, so we both can sleep through the night now (she was all about sleeping with her butt in my face, and now she sleeps on my feet). Hope all is well on your end, I enjoy getting the newsletters.
All the best,
Christine |

Vada

Hi,
We adopted Vada in June of 2010. We are finally sending pics of her to share. She is a joy and a handful! Our thanks to Karie, her foster parent, who welcomed her from Arkansas to Colorado.
