Dusty

 Dusty finally made it to RMLR from Lancaster, South Carolina.  Dusty came form a shelter that puts down over 5000 dogs a year and does it by gassing them! Dusty has been renamed Ms. Francis by an aweosme young woman up in Breckenridge!  Talk about the good life.  She went from hot and sweatie South Caroling and is now a Rocky Mountain dog.  And to top that off Francis gets to go to work everyday too!

Update 6/30/08 from Francis' mom - Here's a photo form her first camping trip - she forgot to look at the camera.  Thank you - Thank you - you have been so wonderful to work with.  I am very grateful for what youy all do at the Rocky Mountai Lab Rescue.

Suzie

Suzie was one of several lab puppies that we rescued from a shelter in Rogers City, AR. Their mother had been dropped off at a shelter and she was VERY pregnant. A fantastic rescue woman made sure the mother was healthy and that the puppies were safe.

She has been adopted by a great family in Colorado Springs! She has been renamed Kalli and she's doing great - growing up fast!

Butter

Butter came to us from a shelter in Arkansas, she is the mom of the previous puppies we adopted out.  We believe that she was a puppy mill dog or at least soley used for breeding and left in a crate pretty much her whole life by the look of her completely worn down teeth.  It seems that she is hesitant of things like stairs, but will do them with some coaxing.

Butter was adopted by a wonderful woman in Boulder who loves to rescue senior dogs.  Butter is now enjoying her senior glory days and is haivng the time of her life!

Missy

Missy is a sweet older girl. She is fantastic and friendly. She gets along great with other dogs. Missy came to RMLR from a shelter in Manhattan, KS.

Missy has been adopted by a great family in Centennial with tons of land. She now has plenty of room to run with her new friends the donkeys! Apparently she has taken a liking to chasing the local rabbits! We can't wait to hear more of an update about this beautiful girl!

Brandy

Brandy is a sweet little girl from Emporia, KS. She's a friendly lab/golden mix that has one cute smile!

Brandy was adopted by a sweet family in Arvada.  They named her Sage.  She wasn't feeling too well when they got her (kennel cough) so she was super mellow.  Now she is a normal puppy, but still very sweet and gentle.  She is now spoiled by three young boys'; lots of walks, treats and play time.  She knows sit and we are working on potty training.  They are taking her up to Winter Park Crested Butte.  They know she will love being out on the trails.  -Thanks for the update!

Clowy

Typical happy puppy! Clowy and her sister Giget came to us happy and heathy from a shelter in Carnegie, OK. She and her sister are both fantastic swimmers already - taking on some rivers the first day we had them.

Clowy has been adopted by a nice woman and renamed Lola! We can't wait to see more pictures as she grows up!

Hank

 Hank is a big friendly fella! Hank came to us from a Retriever Rescue in Oklahoma that had been called to come see him as an owner surrender. Once they got to the home they realized that 1, he wasn't a retriever at all and 2, they couldn't leave such a loveable great dog with an owner who didn't want him. Unfortunately, they couldn't find a home for him in OK either.

Hank was adopted out before he even made it to Colorado. A great family in Broomfield, CO adopted Hank the day he arrived! We can't wait to hear about how Hank is loving his new life in CO!

Roy

Roy - what a cutie! Roy came to us from North Platte, Nebraska. We were in love! How can you not be with such a cute face. His demenor was equally as adorable.

Roy has been adopted by a family in North Boulder. He now lives a life with 2 cats and endless foothill adventures! We can't wait to hear an update about this cute little guy!

Midnight

Midnight came to us from a shelter in Manhattan, KS. He's a really sweet boy who loved everything and everyone. Got along great with cats, kids and other dogs. We aren't sure why someone would let him go.

Midnight has been adopted by his foster mom's father. And he was adopted on Friday the 13th!! What a lucky pup getting to live in Estes Park, Colorado on such an unlucky day! He's still working out a system with the cat Tigger, but we think they're finally starting to understand each other. This is a picture of Midnight and his new dad on their Father's Day trip to Grand Lake.

Nellie

What a cute little girl! We can't get over how sweet and friendly she is! Nellie came to us from a shelter in Topeka, KS. When she came in she had a respiratory infection that was closely linked with kennel cough. We took good care of her and got her all fixed up!

She's been adopted by a great family in Highlands Ranch, CO and we can't wait to hear how this little girl is enjoying her new life in Colorado!

Bob

Bob was found in a shelter in North Platte, NE.  He was obviously cared for in his previous life after seeing how well adjusted he is!! This is the sweetest boy.  He is a confident young man who gets along with other dogs really well and is sweet with kids.  He is a big guy - the classic big black lab with the big block head. 

Bob wasn't with RMLR for long. This fella was adopted out fantastic family in Highlands Ranch! He loves to play fetch and go on walks. He also loves his new human little brother William!

CJ

CJ is a sweetie, although not a lab, we didn't want to see him left in the shelter to die.  He was on Dogs in Danger and had 2 days left to live.  CJ came to us a bit scared and wondering what was going to happen to him. 

CJ was adopted by his foster family almost right away! We're so glad we helped him out and got him into a great home! We can't wait to hear more about this sweetheart!

Ranger

Ranger was saved from a kill shelter in GA.  He was apparently dumped here.  He's a wonderful guy that just had a few socialization issues when he first joined us at RMLR. Really sweet to all people - just didn't know how to be around other dogs.

Ranger was with RMLR for 5 months!!! We couldn't understand what was taking so long to find someone that loved him as much as we did! Ranger got adopted, finally, by his foster parents! What a great catch!

Bones

Bones is a cute little girl that came to us from North Platte, Nebraska. She's a lab boxer mix - we just love her ears!

She's been adopted by a great couple in Westminster, CO. We can't wait to see new pictures of her all grown up!

Stan

Stan was one of several black lab puppies that we rescued from a shelter in Rogers City, AR. Their mother had been dropped off at a shelter and she was VERY pregnant. A fantastic rescue woman made sure the mother was healthy and that the puppies were safe.

Stan was 8 weeks old when he was adopted to young family in Lousville, CO. He now can grow up next to his new 1 and 3 year old human siblings! We can't wait to see how this little guy grows up and enjoys Colorado!

Raven

Raven is a sweet black lab girl that came to RMLR through a CARE transport from Kansas. She was such a doll, we loved her!

She's been adopted by a family in Arvada with two little girls. They have renamed her Daisy. What a lucky girl!

Hi all of you fabulous people at RMLR,

 We just wanted to update you on Daisy, who is now a year and a half.

 She is 100% puppy. Rambunctious?  Check.  Healthy?  Check.  Full of love?  You bet!  We LOVE our Daisy girl!

The Harker Family

Regan

Regan is a beautiful black lab girl that came to RMLR with her friend Raven, through a CARE transport from Kansas. Both girls were real sweethearts!

Regan was adopted by a great family in Littleton, CO. We can't wait to hear more of an update about this girlie!

Sassy

Sassy has been adopted great family in Golden, CO. We're so excited that she now gets a great new life in Colorado!

Chompers

 Chompers was a cute little black lab boy from North Platte, Nebraska. He was with us a couple days and actually at his new forever home when he got very sick with Parvo. We rushed him to the vet and took good care of him and he's recovering nicely.

His new family has been great with Chompers and has taken fantastic care of him. We can't wait to hear how he's doing and see pictures of him all grown up and healthy!

Finn

Finn came to RMLR with her sister Abby. The two had bellies full of worms when they first arrived. We got them on medication right away and took care of them. Their foster mom is great and bought them pink diamond studded collars! :) Basically she spoiled them!

She's been adopted by an active young guy from Superior, CO. She'll have a summer full of boating, hiking, biking and FUN! We can't wait to hear more about this awesome girl!

Sophie

 Sophie was proudly renamed Midnight and is now a resident of Loveland, Colorado.  She has an awesome new family including a new sister that is excited about taking care of everyone of her needs!

Polly

Polly came to us from Alamosa, CO with Tramp. She was a little nervous at first. Not sure who she was with and who she wanted to trust. But she's a sweetie at heart!

Polly was adopted by a woman and her daughter in Lakewood, CO. She has a new dog brother named Jackson and 3 cat siblings! We can't wait to hear more about this cute little girl!
